Now the dust has somewhat settled from the May 2022 Core Google Algorithm Update – what do we know about it?
The majority of sites we look after saw no noticeable change.
A few saw a small rise in impressions and one site saw a decline.
It should be noted impression and click trends around a holiday weekend can confuse and confound this analysis so we are treating this as indicative only.
Early analysis shows that the travel and real estate sectors were most affected.
Compared to some past core updates this one seems to have been fairly light.
